Come learn about the PTCMW Mentorship Program!

Join us for this free informational session. We will discuss details around the Mentorship program and provide attendees with an opportunity to ask questions.

In an ongoing effort to provide professional development opportunities to members, PTCMW is excited to announce the re-launch of the Mentorship program. This program will take place for roughly 6 months: September, 2020 through February, 2021.

Future informational sessions will include an orientation call for mentors to provide more information and resources to assist mentors in creating a rich experience for mentor/mentee pairs, as well as a kick-off event for mentors and mentees to virtually meet each other. More information to come on the orientation and kick-off sessions.

Below are guidelines on the type of individuals we feel would provide a valuable mentoring experience for mentees:

  • Members of PTCMW
  • Master's degree or higher in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or closely related field
  • 1 or more years of I/O related work experience in a full-time capacity (if preference is a traditional mentor/mentee relationship)
  • Availability to commit at least one hour per month to meeting with each mentee

If you are interested in signing up to become a mentor or mentee, please complete the forms located on our mentor website.

If you have any questions or would like more information, contact Leah Ellison (recorder.ptcmw@gmail.com).

  • Event is free! Come join us and learn more!
  • Presentation will be live for members to attend virtually and ask questions.
  • Presentation will be recorded and available in the webcast library for members.
  • **NEW: Registration closes at 11PM EST the day before the event.**
