Abstract: MyCareer@VA is an interactive, online career development experience that empowers current and potential VA employees to create a personalized career plan. Using the website’s five custom-built tools, users can achieve new professional goals, hone your skills, and map a personalized path toward career fulfillment. This one-of-a-kind website represents VA’s commitment to supporting employees throughout their career with training, education, and developmental opportunitiesundefinedall customized to the person’s chosen career path!
During this presentation, we will provide a demo of the MyCareer@VA portal and lessons learned from developing and implementing an enterprise-wide online tool across VA. We will also discuss the importance of connecting career development tools and resources to support recruitment, retention, and engagement in an organization.
