We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Research Associate with the following requirements:

Perform a variety of research associate functions in support of behavioral health research efforts and resilience training development for the military. This work includes conducting literature reviews, preparing reports and presentation briefs, developing resilience training materials, and supporting data collections in the field.

Assist with developing questionnaires, research training materials, and technical guides.

Coordinate travel and some aspects of study logistics with research teams to successfully conduct data collections in field settings.

Conduct scanning, quality control, data entry, and analysis of survey data collected from behavioral health research studies.

Prepare research posters, reports, and briefs of research findings for national meetings and military leaders.

Proofread and edit article manuscripts in collaboration with principal investigators and researchers.

Develop and maintain research protocol files in accordance with human subjects protection regulatory guidelines throughout the life of protocol.

Provide assistance to TechWerks HQ staff as needed on proposal writing projects and all job-related progress reports/technical reports.

Maintain a safe workplace ensuring that he/she is aware of and observes appropriate safety and occupational health rules and regulations. Employee is required to attend safety training relative to his/her position and report any infractions of safety procedures to the facility Safety Officer.

Participate in trainings and other related duties as required and assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a Master’s degree in public health or a related field with an interest in implementation science and evaluation of behavioral health programs. 

Must have excellent English / writing and interpersonal skills; Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook; Previous experience preferred in survey scanning programs such as Remark or Scantron and statistical software such as SPSS or STATA.

Must have at least one year full time work experience in public health, psychology, or a related behavioral health field.  U.S. citizenship or permanent resident is required. 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: knowledge of applicable highly complex office procedures and techniques relating to position.

Physical capabilities: work may involve long periods of standing.

Work Environment: office environment; may require working evenings and weekends.

Must be able to work independently following a brief period of specific technical training.
